Job Description:

Purpose of the role

This position will be supporting the Head of Department MEAL, IM and Research in MEAL and IM activities across the mission. This will provide technical input at the field.

This person must have a background in MEAL. Personal must also have abilities to perform IM duties as well.

Job Profile

Master's degree in computer sciences, information systems, public health and/or in the relevant field with 06 years of overall experience and 04 years in relevant field in nutrition/development sector.

Bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum 08 years of overall experience with 06 years in relevant field in nutrition/development sector.

Individual accountabilities

1. Support in development of MEAL and IM strategy in line with programme strategy

2. Provide technical backstopping to all MEAL and IM field teams

3. Capacity building of the MEAL and IM teams at field level

4. Support in smooth implementation of MEAL Action plan for the mission

5. Support in strengthening and implementation the Feedback and Complaint Mechanism (FCM)

6. Line manage MEAL, and specialists at the field level

7. Support in development and smooth implementation of information systems/database for MEAL and IM

8. Lead the process of MEAL and IM document archiving

· The mission has the necessary systems in place to enable monitoring and accountability of action

· Accurate monthly and quarterly reporting of NIMS data, including stock utilization reports

· Timely archiving of the MEAL and IM documentation

· Monthly MEAL report for all the projects

· Maintain database and follow-up on field monitoring observations

· Timely resolution of the complaints and feedbackRegular field visits and capacity building for ACF, partners and other stakeholders
