Job Description:

Main Responsibilities

  • Formation & reactivation SMC or TIJs and community organization (CO) and subcommittee in the project area as per need.
  • Capacity building of the community organization through orientation and in-house trainings.
  •  Organize training for teacher and SMC member in proper consultation of education department.
  • Facilitate the Female Medical Officer in organizing the MNCH training.
  • Organize and facilitate training for PLWs at community level regarding the ANC and PNC consultations under Health component of the Care-H project.
  • Provide support to Female Medical Officer when & where required under MNCH component of the project. 
  • Preparation of School development plan (SDP) through using different PRA tools.
  • Conduction of feasibility assessment surveys of identified and prioritized needs by community in Schools.
  • Ensure inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized groups in decision making.
  • Ensure sustainability and maintenance of project interventions through maintaining saving habits in community.
  • Proper record keeping of project activities and maintaining proper records of trainings and enrolment campaigns at targeted schools 
  • To keep Internal and external coordination when required.
  • Conduct regular meeting with community organizations and ensure community ownership in project activities.
  • Conduct regular awareness rising session for mobilization and organization.
  • Provide data to maintain a regular database system of project monitoring and evaluation.
  • Ensure all activities to field work are compliant with regulations and implemented in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure the establishment of child forums in targeted schools.
  • To ensure the organization of interface meeting between SMC and Education officials.
  • To ensure the liaison and coordination with targeted health facilities and schools officials for the smooth implementation of Care-H project.
  • Facilitate the Project lead in development IEC materials, Massages for radio programs.
  • Ensure the assessment of targeted schools for the provision of missing facilities.
  • Consult with the supervisor regarding appropriate adjustments in program design or implementation strategies.
  • Assist and facilitate project staff at field level for smooth implementation of project activities.
  • Develop case studies to reflect project impacts.
  • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly work plans.
  • Ensure the timely submission of technical and activities reports.
  • Have to plan and design small tasks as and when required.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Perform any task assigned by supervisor as and when required.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

Locals from Khyber will be preferred.

Bachelor/Master degree in social sciences or related subjects with relevant job experience. Diploma/certificate in Nursing or LHV along with Bachelor degree would be preferred.

  • Organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to create, composes, edits the field record.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a multicultural community.
  • Knowledge of Social Mobilization principles and procedures.
  • Ability to gather data, compiles information, and prepares reports.
  • Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures
  • Command on MS Office, use of internet and emails
  • Valid experience of health & Education projects.

Computer Skills:

  • Good and Sound knowledge of computer in composing of reports and other applications.

Language:

Urdu, English, Pashto

Value Added Skills

She should have experience of working for a Humanitarian Organization specifically in recovery and development phases.
